Your Role

As a member of the Global Project Logistics Management Team this position will lead and manage the Technical Team consisting of Chartering, Transport Engineering, Health & Safety, Legal and Mobile Execution. It contributes to and delivers medium to long-term technical growth strategies and solutions to grow further the global market leadership position of Kuehne+Nagel Project Logistics.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead and create strategic solutions for all technical Groups in the Project Logistics business as jointly defined as part of the Global Project Logistics Management Team
• Lead and inspire the technical solution organization directly on global and indirectly on national level, fostering a collaborative and results driven work environment
• Lead management and recruitment of team members to support growth and to become a technical market leader
• Lead technical tender proposals and solutions and support implementation after award
• Identify and address potential new solutions for customers and align with business development with involved Kuehne+Nagel entities
• Prepare Business Investment plans and applications for new technical solutions that will support growth
• Manage assignments of Mobile execution team
• Support legal teams with reviews and global stakeholder alignment
• Collaborate closely with various stakeholder within Project Logistics as well as other business units and management in the Kuehne+Nagel organization
  
  
  

Your Skills and Experiences

• Master’s degree in logistics, economics, or similar / relevant field
• Vast professional experience in Project Logistics industry
• In depth Project Management experience
• Proven Team Leadership skills for multifunctional teams
• Detailed knowledge in business fields Chartering, Engineering, HSE and Legal
• Excellent technical problem-solving ability
• Outstanding organizational and communicational skills
• Strong knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures
• Superior oral and written communication skills in English
• Team Player
